The war is coming to a close but the campaign season was just beginning! Women all across the country were setting out to share with the world that they needed to vote. In Grand Rapids Michigan many women who went out and voted demonstrated there action by putting up posters in there windows like the one pictured above. This was a moment of pride for many women during this time
Paper and Pen
As the war was coming to an end the soldier were starting to return home everything started to become "normal" again. Many women were worried that everything the had worked for was coming to an end. The image above is a National Women's Suffrage Publishing compony poster. On the right hand side it lists everything that the United States is asking them to do and on the left hand side it lists what women want in return.

The right to vote doesn’t always come the easiest but with the help of these pens, many people were able to find joy in serving our country. This pen is a 1915 voting pen that was worn to show support the movement during this time.
