Thank You, Mr. Wilson

The campaigning was in full swing and we have power on our side. It was the year 1916 and the Woodrow Wilson campaigning has begun. President Wilson says support us. With the thought of further success in mind Catt , the leader of the NAWSA,  linked the ideas of suffrage and service of suffrage groups to the war efforts.  She wanted to show the public and the government that suffragist are just as patriotic and hard working as everyone else during the war time years. In the end her plan worked the Wilson was right behind them.
